Senior Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Job Description

The Senior Project Manager position plays a key role in company s management by leading key project(s) from conceptual phases and pre-construction through construction and commissioning/close-out. This includes oversight and direction of subcontractors, design firms, project managers and project engineers and developing a complementary functional working relationship with the Project Superintendent to provide our clients with a project that is safely completed within budget, on schedule, in accordance with quality standards and meeting the customer s satisfaction. Typically, this role is executing assignments that are larger, more technically complex, multiple projects, or of critical importance to the organization.

  • At least 10-15 years of experience in project management overseeing the design and construction of buildings and renovations of buildings for process related operations.
  • Bachelor s degree in engineering or architecture or higher level of education in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, construction engineering or construction management, or architecture. Electrical engineering, chemical engineering, and process engineering can also be considered; however, for those with these degrees, it is required to have specific construction experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration helpful, but not required.
