Systems Architect

oResponsible for providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise's overall systems architecture.
oFacilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.
oReviews, advises and designs standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs vs. benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.
oDevelops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
oAssists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process.
oProvides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate.
oTracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise's architecture needs.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

Typically has 7 to 10 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/systems environments performing systems planning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software)and optimization.

Complexity:
oExpert/lead technical role.
oDefines systems architecture and design for the enterprise.
oWorks on multiple projects as a project leader or as the subject matter expert.
oWorks on projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.
oCoaches and mentors more junior technical staff.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
