Summary:
The Human Resources Analyst will provide a full range of human resources analysis and program administration services including salary administration, incentive pay, and performance management. Participates in compensation surveys, and collects, prepares and analyzes internal and external HR data.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities: ( Principle Duties)
Generate various routine and ad-hoc reports and statistical summaries by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; designing and preparing reports to meet business needs.
Assists with the tracking and administration of the corporate Profit Incentive Plan, Salary Structure, Position Number Log, Organization Charts and other special payments such as the year-end bonus.
Participates in the development and administration of the mid-year and annual performance review program in accordance with our compensation program and salary administration guidelines by performing the following tasks: confirms eligibility, pulls and prepares data for summary forms, creates, maintains and distributes summary forms to managers, provides support to managers with questions or submission of data, creates reports to provide to compensation committee for approval process and uploads merit increases into payroll database.
Participates in third-party compensation surveys to obtain current data for job evaluations to ensure the companys competitiveness in the market place; compiles, analyzes and evaluates survey data to recommend range adjustments and individual job salary ranges; matches survey jobs and makes recommendations to HRIS/Compensation Manager.
Perform annual submission of the EEO-1 report and the MD Traffic Mitigation Report.
Other Duties and
Responsibilities:
Provides analytical and administrative support and assistance with day to day work activities and achievements of annual HR initiatives.
Provides support to managers and HR department concerning interpretation of compensation practices and guidelines and responding to requests about salaries, job grades, ranges structures and classifications.
Assist with mandatory government reporting, as necessary
Job Specifications:
Education
Bachelors degree preferred.
Working toward CCP certification a plus.
Work Experience
2 to 4 years experience working in an analyst function.
Understanding of the general Human Resources discipline.
General knowledge of compensation techniques, practices and standards, compensation surveys, statistical analysis and wage and hour state and federal laws.
Ability to handle and maintain the highest level of confidentiality is critical
Analytical Skills
Strong analytical and common-sense approach problem solving skills
Able to interpret information from multiple sources to make decisions
Gathers and evaluates information
Thinks through advantages and disadvantages of a stations before making a decision
Technical Skills
Advanced Excel skills (including ability to write formulas, develop and edit reports by using intermediate functions, sorting, filtering, graphs and pivot tables).
Excellent skills in Outlook, Lotus Notes, Word, Share Point and PowerPoint.
Must have an intermediate level of Adhoc reporting experience
Experience with ADP or Ceridian products a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
