We are looking for a data analyst with a good understanding of healthcare data for a role with our client in the Plymouth Meeting, PA area. Working in a fast-paced, start-up environment, they will be working with a variety of different healthcare data streams, and creating databases and ad-hoc reports for a company that is looking to improve healthcare outcomes in the Philadelphia area.
Assists in data analysis and interface issues to resolve mapping items, data inconsistencies, errors and gaps Provides data analysis support to assess and articulate impacts of missing data elements or newly requested data elements Assists end-user communities to understand received systems output relative to source data Provides support for interface issues. Demonstrates sufficient knowledge of interfaces to act as a consultant for members' needs. Serves as a resource for routine system maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Helps create testing plans and debugging/troubleshooting strategies for data feed implementations ensuring data integrity and interface functionality Monitors and reviews test plans developed and executed by others as needed
Qualifications:
3-5 years' experience performing analysis, troubleshooting and developing for medical systems data interfaces Comprehensive understanding and some practical exposure to using relational databases Experience with reporting tools, relational databases (MS Access), data warehouses and/or SQL query tools is a plus Excellent organizational, communication, analytical and problem solving skills required. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of organization personnel, executive management and outside vendors College/University degree in MIS, IT or Healthcare
