Summary:
As an Interim Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing by addressing payroll tickets related to missed time punches and providing support to the payroll team.
In this temporary position, you will be responsible for correcting missed time punches and handling various inquiries, ensuring that employees are compensated accurately and promptly.
Key
Responsibilities:
Payroll Ticket Resolution:
Respond to payroll tickets promptly, investigate and resolve issues related to missed time punches, and other payroll inquiries.
Data Correction:
Correct missed time punches and ensure that all necessary adjustments are made to maintain accurate payroll records.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of all ticket resolutions, ensuring comprehensive documentation for auditing purposes.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with payroll policies and regulations, and make recommendations for process improvements as necessary.
Communication:
Communicate with employees and other relevant stakeholders to provide information, clarification, and updates regarding payroll inquiries.
Support Payroll Team:
Collaborate with the payroll team to process and validate payroll data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Adherence to Deadlines:
Meet daily targets by completing 10-15 payroll tickets per day efficiently and within the required timeframes.
Problem-Solving:
Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions to prevent future errors or discrepancies.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all corrected data is accurate and complete, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.
Training:
Stay up-to-date with company policies, payroll procedures, and software systems to provide effective support.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in payroll administration is a plus.
Proven experience in payroll administration or a related field.
Knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
Proficiency in using payroll software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently and meet daily ticket processing targets.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
