Qualifications:
Applicants should have prior law enforcement experience and must have completed an acceptable School Resource Officer training course as prescribed by PA Act 67.
Availabilty:
On call District Wide- Schedules may vary based upon needs and may include daytime hours, evening hours and weekend hours.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for preserving the safety, health and welfare of students, staff members and visitors in the assigned building or event.
The security officer should strive to prevent any theft and vandalism of school district property and the property of others while on school premises.
The security officer works under the supervision of the district school safety officer and the building principal(s).
Deadline:
Ongoing.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
